The NCABL Championship is coming home to Westlock!

The Westlock Red Lions defeated the Parkland Twins 4–3 to complete the THREE-PEAT and capture the 21st NCABL Championship in Red Lions history!

Leyton Sharrun set the tone early with a two-run home run in the first. After Parkland battled back to tie it, Steve Cote delivered the go-ahead RBI single in the 7th to put the Lions back on top.

Kyle Lawrence struck out 7 over five innings, before Corson Hanlan slammed the door with two scoreless, hitless innings to seal the championship.

🦁 RED LIONS WALK IT OFF IN RESUMED GAME 1! 🦁

After 8 innings were played yesterday, Game 1 of the NCABL Championship Series resumed today tied 2–2 — and it didn’t take long for the Red Lions to finish it.

In the bottom of the ninth, Travis Wagner delivered the walk-off single, scoring the winning run and giving Westlock a 3–2 victory over the Parkland Twins! 🔥

Ayden Cote was outstanding through yesterday’s eight innings, allowing just 2 runs (1 earned) while striking out 4.

Kyle Lawrence took the mound for the ninth today, tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the win.
