We will be picking both the South Integrated Soccer League team (formerly iModel) and the South Soccer League (formerly District)

Our Wizards U15 Boys will be playing for the SSL Cup tonight. Coach Steve Misir and his team will be hosting Brantford City in the 2026 League Cup Final. The game will be indoors at the Youngs Sportsplex at 9pm. Expect a great evening of competitive soccer. Come out to support the team - let's make the Sportsplex a cauldron!!

The Welland Wizards are excited to launch our 2026–2027 I‑Model program! I.D. Sessions begin September 2nd — and we can’t wait to welcome players ready to compete, grow, and represent our club against some of the best in Southern Ontario.

We're looking for committed, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic coaches who are ready to make a positive impact both on and off the pitch.

👦👧 Open to players U4–U18
📅 Saturdays: U4–U10
📅 Mondays: U12 Boys, U14 Boys & U18 Girls
📅 Tuesdays: U12 Girls, U14 Girls & U18 Boys

⚽ Our U4 division is a developmental division run by the WSC convenors. They will work on basic soccer skills, as well as play mini-games,
⚽ Our U6 & U8 divisions will once again play on mini-fields (no more inflatable fields).
⚽ U10–U18 will compete on 1/3-field layouts, creating a fun, fast-paced environment with lots of touches on the ball.

Our House League program is only possible thanks to our incredible parent volunteers. If you're interested in coaching this fall, simply submit a coaching application through your PowerUp account during registration. No previous coaching experience is required!

Welland Soccer Club Welland Soccer Club operates out of Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario. Member of Niagara Soccer Association and sanctioned by Ontario Soccer Association.

The Welland Wizards U18 Girls represented the Club proudly in the semi-finals of Ontario Soccer's premier competition, the Ontario Cup on Saturday. The Wizards fell to a 3-0 loss against the eventual champions, Barrie Soccer Club at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan. The first half was incredibly competitive with both sides having quality attempts at goal. Karley Perreault made a couple of sure handed saves early-on - while defenders Chloe Lococo, Aleecia Watts and Matt Guay helped with some strong challenges. Midfielders Chloe MacKay, Nicole Gill, Bethel Bogale and Riley Robinson started a number of attacks and helped Welland gain a foothold in the game. Malaury Aka, Alexis Huneault and Sabrina Dusome led the attack up front. Aka, in particular, used her tremendous athleticism to put the Barrie defence under-pressure throughout a high-paced first half. The game turned in the 24th minute when a Barrie attack down the left wing landed at the feet of striker Bree Yanni, who placed a well-aimed shot into the bottom right corner of the Welland net. While the Wizards started the second-half brightly, the strong Barrie defence proved difficult to pe*****te. A counter-attack goal by Angelica De La Riva Vasquez in the 58th minute put the game out of reach. In the end, it was a strong performance by the Wizards, who played with high-energy throughout.
