Canada's 131,000 km snowmobile trail network supports 1.5 million riders, 66,000 jobs, and $20.6 billion in annual economic activity, yet winter trails are excluded from federal infrastructure and climate funding. Bridges, culverts, and groomers across the country are more than 25 years old and failing.

Thank you to the club members who staffed our booth,
I turned out to be a great day with lots o people stop by to chat and check out the groomer and the club and our sponsors got a lots of exposure.

There are two types of people in Ontario.

People enjoying summer.
And snowmobilers pretending to enjoy summer.

Sure, we appreciate the sunshine. We tolerate the lawn mowing. We even try to convince ourselves that blackflies and mosquitoes are just part of the experience.

But let's be honest.

Most snowmobilers spend the summer talking about last winter, planning next winter, watching snowmobiling videos, and counting down the days until the trails turn green on the ITG again.

What many people don't see is that while the sleds are parked, volunteers are still hard at work.
As part of our Ignite Volunteerism initiative, we're asking every permit buyer to complete a short Volunteerism Survey. And when we say everyone, we mean everyone.

A SEASON TO REMEMBER! For Volunteers Week, As another incredible snowmobiling season comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who helped make it one of the most memorable in recent years. From our volunteers, groomer operators, clubs, landowners, partners, and permit buyers - your support made it all possible.

Just a few hours ago, the last kilometer of OFSC Prescribed Snowmobile Trails was turned unavailable marking the end of the 2025-26 Ontario Snowmobile Season.
And what a season it was! 🤩🤩🤩 Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in making winter dreams come true across Ontario.
