September 6th:
- 17UW & 18UW, 9:30am - 11:00am
- 16UW, 11:30am - 1:00pm
- 15UW, 1:30pm - 3:00pm
- 14UW, 3:30pm - 5:00pm

September 13th:
- 17UM, 1:00pm - 2:30pm

September 27th:
- 12UW & 13UW, 9:30am - 11:00am

November 8th:
- 13UM, 14UM, 15UM, 16UM & 18UM, 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Greetings all, I wanted to give you a bit more information about the tryout prep camp for the 12U / 13U age groups this Sunday, 10am till Noon at the communiplex. This event is specifically for young athletes who will be going through the Club volleyball or School volleyball tryout process. We will be sharing tips from coaches on how to prepare and set yourself up to get noticed among the many other athletes trying out at the same time. This is a coed event, we will be running a simulated tryout so come prepared to do all of the drills that you would typically do in a tryout. I hope to get you familiar with the process, what to expect and hopefully ease the nerves a bit. This is open to all athletes, even if you are not going to be trying out for a CVVC team (although we hope you do consider us. You can register on our website or just drop in, the cost is $20.

We have a new-ish addition to our CVVC team this year - Matt Schmidt, who will be coaching the 17UW Storm team! Matt has been with CVVC for the last few years as an assistant coach and lead coach in our Float Through Summer Volleyball Camps. Matt has consistently shown a passion for the sport and excitement when teaching athletes of all skill level - we're so lucky to have him on the team!

Welcome back Lisa Rein for another season as coach of the 15UW Storm team! Lisa has proven each year that she is passionate about teaching young athletes just how fun volleyball can be, all while ensuring they grow their skills in the sport!

Another returning coach - Chloe Matthewson-Reid with the 15UW Force team! Chloe has done a fantastic job showing her athletes how to be competitive, but also how to have fun! We can't wait to see what her team does this year!

Join us in welcoming back Dylan Chipperfield as our head coach for the 14UW Storm team! Dylan was fantastic with the young athletes last year, and we are excited to see him continue to show them what a great sport volleyball is!

Kevin Davis is back for another year to head coach our 12UW Aces team! Kevin's devotion to developing young kids into strong, confident athletes is unmatched, and we are lucky to have his expertise for another year!

We're so excited to announce Doug Wallace as the head coach for our 16UW Aces squad! Doug has many years experience at coaching in all levels of volleyball including winning multiple provincial championships and being named Development Coach of the Year! We can't wait to see what him and his team accomplishes this season!
