Vulcan Demolition Derby

We've spent the last few days reflecting, and decided there's no need to place blame.

At the end of the day, the decision to cancel was ours, and we accept that responsibility.

Were we hurt, frustrated, angry and confused? Absolutely. This event means the world to us, and seeing it come to an end this year has been heartbreaking. But after taking some time, we've realized that pointing fingers or reliving everything isn't going to change the outcome, only continue the anger.

In short, after calling an emergency meeting, The Vulcan Ag society and the Vulcan derby committee could not come to a resolution on issues addressed. Therefore we did what we felt was in the best interest of those involved and cancelled the derby. We take full responsibility for this decision.

Now, we're choosing to put our energy into making sure this never happens again.

To our drivers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, officials, and everyone who was affected, we are truly sorry. Thank you for the incredible support you've shown us through all of this, we understand the anger and frustration, we don't blame you for that, and accept full responsibility.

We hope you'll give us the opportunity to earn your trust again and bring back an even bigger and better event next year.

To everyone who was planning on coming to Vulcan July 18, please, keep your plans, come out to support the local businesses and check out the car show. Shaun and I, as well as our friends DD Speed Shop will be around town, and who knows... maybe we'll even find a place for the burnout truck to make an appearance. 😄

Thank you for your grace, your kindness, and for believing in us. We're already looking ahead, and we can't wait to show you what's next, as No Way Productions is born.

After exhausting every possible option, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel this year’s demolition derby.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to access the funds required to honor the advertised payouts and commitments that have been made. Rather than make promises we cannot keep, we have chosen to cancel the event.

We know this is incredibly disappointing for our drivers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and fans, and we sincerely apologize. We are grateful for everyone who supported this year’s event.

This is not the end. We are already looking ahead to 2027 and are committed to coming back on our own with an even bigger and better event.

We will share more information about this decision in the coming days. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please bare with us while we issue refunds to competitors, sponsors and spectators
