One week to go! MORE INFO BELOW‼️
thanks to everyone who signed up to make me suffer this Sunday! I’m genuinely very much looking forward to this ride. Kind of😬
Here is some information that might prove useful.
Start: while you can start as early as 6 AM there is a bit of a formula to this. If you are a former cat 1 racer and train more than actually…if you train at all like, actually TRAINING you probably shouldn’t start at the crack of six. That spot is reserved for people who will likely double their weekly hours with this ride alone. So, if that’s you perhaps consider starting closer to 7 AM. Trust me, that’s plenty and whistle buoy only opens at 12!
To everyone who has signed up, you will receive an email later this week with a link to the route(goes live sat afternoon) and a few more very useful bits of info like location of a rest stop, etc.
As always, this is meant to be a fun yet challenging ride. Other than the rest stop there’s no support, BYO everything- Not a race ,so be friendly to others, follow the rules of the road and be safe. If youve ever don’t one of these events before you know they are both physically and technically demanding but I promise you will enjoy the route we’ve put together.
Huge thanks to those supporting the ride!

OK, you’ve asked for it and now it’s here.
The long awaited summer Last Ride. - Tour de Grit
Everyone has always wondered what The Last Ride would be like if hypothermia wasn’t always going to be one of the challenges for the day. Now the challenge isn’t coming from exposure risk it’s coming from behind you. I’ll be doing Tour De Vic the day before(honestly the best road event you can do in BC… Maybe the world!) and I figured why not make it into a full weekend of amazing riding.
So we came up with this challenge. I’m not going to lie, I honestly think a lot of you are going to be having a drink at my expense-and honestly I am very much look forward to that.
Obviously since it’s a Last Ride event there will be a couple additional twists along the way but for now this should be enough information to get you going.
Sign up info to follow- but for this “test event” the first year is on us.
Look forward to seeing you all out there.

Here’s a polished caption you can drop straight into Instagram — hype, a little cheeky, classic-season vibes dialed in:
⸻
The third annual Strade Grigio is HERE 🙌
Classic season is officially underway, and with the greatest gravel race in the world going down Saturday at Strade Bianche, we figured it was only right to host our own version on Sunday.
Will the pace be quite as spicy? Probably not.
Will the après be significantly sweeter? Absolutely.

Start: BICI at 9AM (arrive early for ☕️ & 🍩)
Duration: roughly 2.5–3 hours - 75km
Pace: at times uncomfortable
Finish: Whistle Buoy- obviously
Beers: optional.
Stoke: highly likely.
Weather: does it matter at this point?
Route: check back Saturday (join the last row Strava group) to be updated
This is our first community ride of the year and we couldn’t be more fired up to kick things off with all of you.
See you Sunday 🤝🚴♂️🔥
