The Victoria Royals are a Canadian Major Junior Ice Hockey Club in the Western Hockey League.
Team History
On April 20, 2011 RG Properties owner Graham Lee and WHL Commissioner Ron Robison welcomed the WHL back to Victoria. RG Properties purchased the Chilliwack Bruins and would relocate the franchise from the Fraser Valley to Vancouver Island for the start of the 2011-12 season. Former Chilliwack Bruins head coach and general manager Marc Habscheid would continue to guide the team after
