We are proud to recognize Royal Bay High School graduate Kira Wiedeman as the inaugural recipient of the $1000 Olympic View Hospitality & Sport Bursary.

Kira has been a valued member of the Olympic View community for many years, from beginning in our junior camps at just 4 years old to then becoming a dedicated volunteer supporting Alanna Deegan with our youth programs and camps. Over the years, she has contributed more than 300 volunteer hours, helping young golfers build confidence, learn new skills, and develop a lasting love for the game.

Through her involvement in golf, swimming, dance, and community events, Kira has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, strong teamwork, and a genuine passion for working with children through sport.

This fall, Kira will begin her first year at the University of Victoria, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her ambition to build a future centered around youth development, sport, and leadership makes her a truly deserving recipient of this bursary.

Congratulations, Kira, we are excited to see all that you accomplish in the years ahead!
