Ranumi Eashwarage raced to the win in the women’s 100 Free, touching in 55.00 for a standout swim on Day 2 of the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

There’s been several other great swims from Canada’s Junior team, including a few more from our Dinos with Callie Cardiff placing 6th in the 400 IM while Kinnon Sen raced in the B final of the 100 Back on Day 1. All this with another few sessions still to come.

Alexanne Lepage closed out the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships with a standout swim, winning the 200 Br in a lifetime best of 2:21.73 and earning her first individual medal at the senior international level.

Canada closed out the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships with a double-medal night on Saturday at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center, matching the country’s best performance at the prestigious swimming championships in 1997 with 13 trips to the podium.

Dinos at Pan Pacs 🌴

Alexanne Lepage and Laon Kim are ready to race in Irvine, California as the Pan Pacific Championships begin tomorrow and run through August 15.

Prelims are streaming on CBC each day at 11:00am MT, with finals at 8:00pm MT.

And wrapping up the 2025-26 regular season was AB Provincial Champs at home in Calgary 🦖

After several years of landing at multiple meets across the final weekend of the season, it was so great to have everyone together, racing at home.

The heat made for some long days on the pool deck, but our athletes fought through it to stay engaged, energetic, and present throughout the entire weekend.

We’re immensely grateful for our mighty group of parent volunteers who made the weekend a reality — for some, even well after their own swimmers had finished their seasons, so we cannot thank everyone enough.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been almost two weeks since we wrapped up another full season of training, racing, growth, and Dino spirit 🦖

Before we move on to the handful of Dinos taking on the Pan Pacific Championships & Junior Pan Pacific Championships, we’ve got two more meets to revisit and celebrate.

First up: Grand Prix du Québec ☀️

We loved being part of the second edition of this great competition. Sixteen Dinos spent the week racing in the sun at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, many fresh off the Bell Canadian Swimming Trials.

This meet acted as step 2 of 3 for some, or 1 of 2 for others, as we all headed towards a season end together at Champs in Alberta the following week. It was a great test of resilience, quick adapting, and not just putting together great performances, but finding ways to do it again and again over the course of a week or two.

New records from Trials 💥

Nicole L’Heureux broke the 200 Back club record and held the record shortly before Meghan Sutherland bettered the record later that day.

Bell Canadian Swimming Trials — Day 5 🇨🇦

Dinos brought five days of great racing to a close tonight in Montreal.

The night kicked off with the 200 Back — Kinnon Sen had a standout performance, winning the junior final in 2:03.93 with a huge personal best.

Alexanne Lepage took home her second win of the weekend, clocking her fastest-ever 100 Breast and inching even closer to the sub-1:06 mark.

In celebration of a great week of performances, UCSC alum Lorne Wigginton was awarded Male Swimmer of the Meet.

The night ended with the official Pan Pacific Championships team announcement, with Alexanne Lepage, Laon Kim, UCSC alum Lorne Wigginton, and Coach Mike Blondal all named to Canada’s national team heading to California next month.

What an exceptional week of showcasing all that Canada has to offer... what an opportunity.... what a week to be a Dino 🦖

Your CSCA Coach of the Day for Day 4 of the 2026 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials is UCSC Head Coach Mike Blondal.

UCSC’s Alexanne Lepage won the 200 Breast in a best time of 2:23.03 — the 7th-fastest time in the world so far this year.

Mike’s CSCA x Speedo x Team Aquatics Supplies Prize Pack was presented by CSCA Board Member Marta Belsh.
