2026/2027 Seda Dance Faculty - Meet Katie Wertz and welcome her to Victoria and Seda Dance!

Katie Wertz (she/her) is a contemporary dancer, choreographer and facilitator who has recently relocated with her family to Victoria, BC on the traditional territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. Katie’s work is deeply informed by place, accessibility and land-based practices. She integrates her technical dance background with improvised and embodied movement frameworks, creating a supported space for authenticity, curiosity and activation.
