Today marks 20 years since Hitoshi Shiozaki Shihan’s passing.

Greg Turnbull Kyoshi was presented his Hachidan (8th degree black belt) from Puckett Hanshi and Kikukawa Hanshi at last night’s special training class with our guests from Seienjuku Japan.

This past weekend, two of our students tested and passed their next rank tests.

Nick Sensei: Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Ryukyu Kobudo. Thank you to Kikukawa for supporting and hosting this test.
James Bell: 4th kyu (green belt) in Seienjuku karate.

Congratulations to Zander on successfully testing for his brown belt (2nd kyu). Osu!

Kyoshi Greg Turnbull successfully tested for his Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in Daiwa-ryu Aki Jiu Jitsu under Kikukawa Hanshi. It was a “pop quiz” (no advance notice) so that he could not plan or prepare.
