From the outside she’s the speaker everyone books.
Behind the scenes her body treats every single talk like an emergency.
And she had a tidy label for it. “Perfectionist tendencies.” High standards. Wired that way.
Babe that label is a box you climbed into because it finally made the thing sound respectable.
It helps articulate your experience. It is not who you are. And it’s definitely not the end of the sentence.
Because when we actually traced it, it didn’t start on a stage. It started on the ice. A competition, a moment her brain filed under “not safe, never again”... and twenty years later that same wiring is running her keynotes.
She’s not responding to the stage. She’s responding to a filter installed decades before the stage existed.
That’s what your body is doing too. The anxiety before the pitch. The spiral after the comment. It feels current. It almost never is.
Just because it’s normal for you does not mean it’s you.
Clip from episode 159 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
And when it isn’t one filter on one stage, it’s the thing quietly running every room you walk into, that’s Signal. One to one, ongoing, at the pace your life actually moves. You bring what’s live the day it’s live and we go straight to the wiring underneath it. Nothing to schedule, nothing to report on, no curriculum anywhere near it.
If you’ve been circling it, that’s your answer. DM me EAGLE.
Danya Douglas Hunt
helping 6 fig entrepreneur scale to 6/7 figures without another biz strategy or working harder. how?
But Danya, a surgeon has to become a skilled surgeon. You can’t just decide you’re a heart surgeon.”
I get it. It’s the pushback I get constantly, and it’s fair.
Skills, yes. You acquire those. Reps, hours, failure, more reps. A surgeon earns her hands. A speaker earns the room.
Who you are was never on that list.
Somewhere in the reps the two got welded together. “I acquired this skill” quietly turned into “this is who I am,” and now everything has to add up to an identity you never consciously agreed to.
What about the Olympian who no longer competes, and wakes up the next day in retirement in a massive identity crisis?
Or the dog mum who just lost her soul dog.
Or the type A, alpha, hyper independent woman who wants to be more feminine and receive, but sees it as weak.
Or the successful speaker who wants to bring more humour into her talks, and has always been known as the serious one.
Or the Olympic athletic therapist who spent years and years studying, and tens of thousands of dollars, who now wants to be a coach or a speaker in a completely different field.
None of them are wrong about who they are. The identity is real and it’s earned.
The very thing you spent years building is now the very thing holding you captive. It’s not obvious. It’s invisible.
You’re sophisticated. Successful. You can name your old patterns better than most coaches could, but naming them and shifting and embodying them are two different things. And underneath that there’s still a heaviness you don’t say out loud, because what exactly would you be complaining about?
You lost the plot of it. The fun. The actual enjoyment of the game you’re winning.
That’s not a skill gap. There’s no rep that fixes it.
You’re not becoming anything. You’re unbecoming everything that was never you in the first place.
Clip from episode 151 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
And if there’s a thread in this that keeps pulling, that’s The Back & Forth. Voice notes across a few hours with me, layer after layer, until the thing underneath it cracks open. One of my favourite ways to work, because it moves at the speed you
So if it isn’t the thing, what is it.
That’s the question you’re left holding, and it’s exactly the right one to be holding.
It’s the definition. The story you never sat down and wrote but have been running the company on anyway. The interpretation you made at seven, at four, at two, in a moment nobody left alive remembers, that’s currently setting your prices and deciding who you hire.
You think you’re responding to the email. You’re responding to what your brain decided the email meant, and it decided that before you’d finished the subject line, using a file it wrote when you were too young to argue with it.
Which is genuinely trippy when you sit with it. Somewhere in your day today, a grown woman running a real company took orders from a two year old with incomplete information 😜
That’s not a character flaw and it isn’t a fault. It’s wiring. And wiring is the one thing in this whole equation that can actually be changed.
What it won’t do is respond to more thinking. You’ve tried, and you’re sharper than most people who have ever tried it, and it doesn’t live in the part of you that thinks.
Clip from episode 159 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
So bring me the one thing. A Laser Session is one live hour, live on Zoom, you and me. I listen for how you say it rather than what you said, we go back to where the definition got written, and you rewrite it while I’m sitting there. Three days of me on messages afterwards while it lands.
DM me CHEETAH.
The money landed and the first thing she felt was a clench.
Not joy. Not relief. A clench, and then about two seconds later, guilt about the clench.
Fifteen thousand was fine, she said. Twenty five did something. Thirty and she was gone. Her own words, and I’ve never forgotten them: it’s like a wall, and there are monsters on the other side of it.
Nobody built that wall on purpose and nobody put the monsters there. It’s just the last number her nervous system has a file for. Everything past it reads as unknown, and unknown reads as threat in a body that doesn’t check your P&L before it decides.
The number is neutral. It’s letters and digits people collectively agreed on. Your body isn’t responding to the number, it’s responding to the file, and the file was written a long time before there was a business.
You already know where your wall is. You could tell me the figure right now without thinking about it.
And you already know it isn’t a strategy problem, because you’ve solved harder things than this with a whiteboard and a free Tuesday.
Clip from episode 159 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
And when it isn’t one clean question but a thread that keeps pulling, layer under layer, that’s The Back & Forth. Voice notes from you across a four hour window, me coming back at you in rounds on WhatsApp or Telegram on my designated days. It happens at the speed the thing is actually happening, which is why it’s one of my favourite ways to coach.
If you’ve been circling it, that’s your answer. DM me DOLPHIN.
The most beautiful thing about life is that it is reflecting exactly what frequency you’re consistently living in, which then dictates your experience of it. You see, your circumstances are not the frequency. The way you experience yourself inside them is.
and life is going to present to you people, places, things, and circumstances to show you where you’re not free.
This doesn’t mean you’re not going to clean the p**p off your Tesla. How you respond, your reaction to it, the thoughts, the stories, and the associations you have with it are what’s revealing the actual programming behind the scenes that is coding every aspect of your life.
It’s just showing up as bird p**p today.
Which you will label as not a big deal. Of course it’s not but these are the thousands of little paper cuts happening over and over and over again every single day, leaking your energy out. That you label as not really a big deal when actually they’re handing you the biggest opportunity of your life
That’s What I love about life: it is your mirror, returning you back multiple opportunities every day to your sovereignty and what I call your unf**kwithable state.
It’s who you actually are at your essence. Not the façade, the external, the labels, the identities, the accolades. It’s the one thing money can’t buy and a path that only can be walked and embodied
And will have you access a level of inner peace and freedom that nothing on the outside can impact or dictate, choice is yours. Options are open
You don’t have a success problem. You have a frequency "problem"
And the evidence isn’t in your P&L. It’s in your Tuesday:
The email from your CPA that made your whole body brace... and turned out to be a receipt question.
Being with your kids but not with your kids. Guilt when you’re working, guilt when you’re not. That constant tug of war.
The drive home where you’re technically grateful and mentally in your inbox.
None of that is a strategy gap. You already know every strategy works. It’s the frequency underneath the doing... the low hum of proving you picked up decades before you ever opened a business.
Your circumstances are not the frequency. The way you experience yourself inside them is and that's the barometer you can't hide or lie from
And here’s the good news. It’s not yours. It never was.
You don’t need more. You need to put down what was never fu***ng yours.
Clip from episode 158 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
If you want it seen and shifted, that’s a Laser Session. One live hour, you and me, straight to the root of the one thing you bring. New clients welcome, no application. It really can move that fast.
DM me CHEETAH.
You acquired a skill.
You did not acquire an identity. Not in the way you think. Yes, everything is identity-driven... But most people even define that level of work in a way that’s not serving you. It has good intentions but it’s a thing creating the very invisible cage you’re not even aware of yet
And for where you’re at, your identity has now become the thing that’s trapping you.
Somewhere along the way you forgot the difference, and now a title you earned is the cage keeping you from the next thing or the richer experience and embodiment of the current thing
You are not the sailor. You are not the founder. You are not the athlete. You are so much more than that.
You’re the one who learned to sail.
Because for some of you you are having an identity crisis when you’re questioning who you are without this thing or when you’re soul is wanting to colour outside the lines. And you don’t know where to put it or what to name it because it’s not aligned with what has been.
And for some of you the definition or label is preventing you from fully embodying and experiencing the moment right here in front of you
Just for fun, for a second, suspend all history and knowing (this is one of the blank page exercises I do with clients) and get present to what is in your life.
Remember who the f*ck you are underneath all of that.
Clip from episode 151 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
If there’s a title you’ve been wearing like it’s you, bring it to The Drop In. A few voice notes, my answers straight back, done inside a day or two. And if it takes you longer than a minute to say it out loud, there’s your problem already.
DM me OTTER.
Some of the wealthiest people I work with are the most scarcity-run people I know 😘
Not because they’re doing it wrong. Because they built everything from a frequency of proving... and proving doesn’t have a finish line.
You hit the number. The bar moves.
You get the house. The emptiness redecorates.
You finally slow down. The guilt shows up before your coffee does.
There’s no amount of money, houses, accolades, or black Amex cards that will take away the feeling of not being enough.
Because enough was never on the other side of the next thing. It’s underneath everything you’ve been performing.
Most people live backwards. Outside in.
The whole game changes when you flip it.
And if you’re reading this thinking “I know, I’ve seen this pattern, I literally watch myself do the thing in real time and do it anyway”... that’s exactly the point. Awareness was never the missing piece. You can’t read the label from inside the jar.
Having it named, in your specific life, live... that’s what shifts it.
Clip from episode 158 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
A Laser Session is you and me, live, on the one thing, and you leave with it named and moved. Unf**kwithable Wealth is a year in an intimate room of women, the whole unbecoming, closed by feel.
You’ll know which one is yours. DM me CHEETAH for the hour, TIGER for the year.
“Danya, how do you stay so grounded when sh*t’s hitting the fan?”
I get some version of this every time someone hears what the last few years looked like.
Not because life got easier. Almost a decade of death, rebirth, pivot, identity breakdown in every area. Not a chaotic burning down. A deep, grounded, sovereign following of the soul path over the safe path. It’s broken my heart over and over, and it’s hard as f**k to let go of what’s great on paper for a whisper you can’t name.
Your girl left the Olympic world she built her career in. Walked out of a 7.5 year engagement, moved to a new town alone. $50K in savings to $50K in debt and back. Seven years nomadic instead of the white picket fence. Every choice conscious, my inner world never moving an inch.
Two hours in a hotel lobby in Australia after checkout because my gut said “wait, not yet”... which led to a sleeping pod in a co-living house I’d judged, then six months moving through a country with no plan but the next gut yes.
Life knows more than me. All I do is clear the static and take aligned action. Easy, f**k no. Simple, yes. Grounded was never the goal. Somewhere in there I stopped unconsciousl performing my life & started playing in it.
The question I ask my successful clients: “Who are you when you have everything, and who are you when you have nothing?” If anything external went away tomorrow and it changed you at all, that’s the cage.
Performance and play look identical from the outside. Same launch. Same calendar. Same output.
Performance is your best month ever and the only thing you feel is the bar moving. Play is that same month actually landing in your body.
Performance is “one sec, babe” while she does the cartwheel again. Play is watching the damn cartwheel.
Same business. Different woman.
So... when you stop grading yourself, then what? Clip from episode 158 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
That’s what Unf**kwithable Wealth is. A year, a small room of women, the complete unbecoming of every pattern keeping your money, power and your own knowing less than sovereign. Application, closed by feel.
If you’ve been circling it
There’s a word that makes you my best mate in Australia and gets me cancelled in North America 😜
Same four letters. Same sound. Opposite reaction.
So what are people actually reacting to? Not the word. The filter. The conditioning, the definitions, the past experiences the word travels through on its way in.
Say the same insult to me in German and I’d smile at you. Nothing lands because there’s no filter to land on.
Now here’s where it gets expensive.
Your bank account number is a word. Your launch numbers are a word. The comment, the email, the “that’s too much”... all neutral until your filters get their hands on it.
You’re not responding to your life. You’re responding to your definitions of it. Most of which you never consciously chose.
This is the exact thing I do in a session. I’m not listening to your story, I’m listening for the word. “Hold on. What was that you just said, and how did you say it?” That one word shows me the entire frequency you’re operating from.
And once it’s seen, it’s yours to change.
Clip from episode 159 of my podcast, Unf**kwithable. The full conversation is there.
That’s a Laser Session. One live hour, you and me, on the one thing you bring. I listen for how you say it, we go to where it got installed, and you leave with it named and moved. Three days of me on messages afterwards while it settles in. New clients welcome, no application.
