A great fun ProAm competition was held VERNON LAWN BOWLING CLUB where Novice and Experienced bowlers were paired up to compete against other teams.

VLBC Ladies Singles League Comes Down to the Final Game
On August 20th, the VLBC Ladies Singles League came to an exciting conclusion. A full slate of sixteen ladies battled it out throughout the league, with the title ultimately coming down to the very last game. First Place Diana: Second Jill and Joyce in third.

The Kelowna 5's was played this last weekend. A competition that includes playing as singles, pairs, triples, fours and even fives. VERNON LAWN BOWLING CLUB were well represented in the winners bracket. Congratulations to the winners...

Tuesday evening after seven weeks of play, the mixed triples league concluded with a lot of strategy and great shots . The winners of the event were: Sandy, Don H, Carol, in second; Ann, Keith, Candace and third place went to Don H, Shirley, Dayna. Lawn bowling leagues are a great way to improve your skills and challenge your friends!

We had a very successful novice tournie on Saturday. This is designed for new bowlers, 8 women and 6 men vied for the coveted novice plaques!
On the women's side, Dayna finished first, and Jen was second.
On the men's side, Rob finished first, and Alfred was second.
