The August 2nd – Perley Rock hike (Roger’s Pass, BC) has been CANCELLED due to smoke.

The programs leadership team has made the difficult decision to cancel the Roger’s Pass hike as a SLNC club activity.
The smoke is currently at a potentially unsafe and damaging level for all user groups.
Thank you for joining our community of fitness and adventure over the previous outings! We hope to get back out there soon!

While it takes a village behind the scenes, we are thrilled to share some well-deserved national recognition. A huge congratulations to Marcus Boyle for receiving the Nordiq Canada Distinguished Volunteer Award! 🏆

True to form, Marcus is the first to deflect the spotlight, reminding us that he is just one piece of a massive puzzle. From chopping wood and coaching our athletes to organizing races and writing grants, our volunteers do it all.

Speaking of teamwork... a massive thank you to the fantastic crew who rolled up their sleeves the other weekend to cut and stack firewood! 🪓
