✨ REVEAL #4: REGISTER. GET MORE. ✨
We’re bringing back some of the best ideas from 25+ years of Dance Impressions — including a registration structure designed to reward commitment, loyalty and growth.
💛 RETURNING FAMILIES
Priority Registration meant $30 registration + priority placement + consideration for preferred days & times.
Because early commitment allows us to build stronger classes, secure staffing, organize levels and create the schedule before the season begins. And when we promise to the families who commit early, we want to be able to keep that promise.
And that’s just the beginning…
🎁 NEW STUDENTS
🎁 REFERRALS
🎁 MOMS & TOTS
…all have incentives built into our 2026/27 registration structure.
Because registering early shouldn’t just mean getting organized.
It should mean getting MORE.
⏰ Classes fill. Preferred times disappear. Incentives have deadlines.
Some of our classes are already 80% full. Don’t wait until the spot you want is gone.
Your dancer gets ONE 2026/27 season.
Secure it now.
25+ years of experience.
A refreshed approach.
Clear Pricing. Clear Deadlines & Commitments. Advanced Planning. All within a Dance school that believes Dance should build more than dancers.
More Starts Here.

Some dancers want one class a week.
Some don’t want to go on stage.
Some want exams or want to try competitions.
And some dancers discover along the way that they are ready for much much more.
The problem? You don’t always know which dancer you’re raising yet.
Our Recreational & Competitive Division gives dancers room to begin where they are — while still being taught with intention, structure and quality.
Every season spent in dance is an investment of time — and time is too valuable to spend in a program that that isn’t developed or isn’t structured to progress your child’s potential.
The classes they take now are shaping more than what they can do on a stage. They are shaping their confidence, their work ethic, their resilience , along with their skills — and these all lay the foundations or create the ceilings of what their future self will be capable of.
Poor habits can take years to undo. Missed opportunities do not always come back. And the right technique matters long before a dancer realizes just how far they may want to go.
That’s why where they dance, how they are taught, and what is expected of them matters.
Because recreational doesn’t have to mean lower standards.
And the right competitive experience can lead them to see how much more is possible.
Committed Dancers. Quality Training. Flexible Class Selection.
That’s our Recreational & Competitive Division.
Dance Impressions Builds More Than Dancers.
But don’t forget, we still deliver the strongest foundations in Recreational and Competitive Programing.

Before you know it, the toddler standing beside you will be walking through the doors of Kindergarten and then on to Grade 1.
At Dance Impressions, our pre-level programs are intentionally designed to give young children so much more than their first introduction to dance.
Through music, movement, repetition, imagination and age-appropriate instruction, they are learning to:
• listen & follow direction
• wait, take turns & practise patience
• move confidently & independently
• build coordination & body awareness
• participate in a group
• develop courage & self-confidence
• discover the joy of learning
Because pre-school dance shouldn’t simply be about making cute memories. What happens during these formative years matters. It should help prepare them for what comes next.
From Moms & Tots for ages 1–3, to PreDance Creative for ages 2–3, Preschool Ballet & Tap at ages 3–4, PreBeginner Ballet/Jazz/Tap for ages 5-7, and beyond to our next-step programs as they grow, Miss Ryan’s signature preparatory program has been created around the developmental needs of little people.
They may not remember every song.
They may not remember every step.
But the confidence to walk into a room without you…
the ability to listen to another trusted adult…
the patience to wait for their turn…
the courage to try something new…
those are things they take with them.
Believe me, you can’t buy these years back.
✨ Small Steps. Big Dreams. Beautiful Futures.

Trust me, they’ll outgrow the shoes. One day, the costumes will be all packed away, the competitions will end, and eventually they’ll take their final bow—
but what they become through those years stays with them. At Dance Impressions we believe dance should build more than dancers. It should build confidence, discipline, resilience, friendships, character, and the courage to become your own story.
We are the place where potential doesn’t have a body type. We are the place where Who teaches them matters. Standards matter. Education matters. Ethics matter. Experience matters. We know these years you don’t get back. They’re shaping foundational technique that can limit or propel them —but even more importantly, they’re shaping the young person who walks off the stage and into the grand world of life.
Dance someday ends. What we strive to build, lasts a Lifetime.
We don’t just watch them grow, we help them become, standing behind them every step of the way. Even when that means guiding them through toddler tantrums or talking them out of teenage drama, we smile at all these stages, knowing we’ve been there so many times before. Whether they are 2, 6, or 16, they’re only this age once and their moment is now.
We invest and give them more than just great memories.
More than trophies.
More than a dance class.
More than today.
Your brilliant children are made for more.

Change is coming to dance—and I couldn’t be happier. 🩰
For years, I’ve believed our industry needed stronger standards for safety, teacher education, ethics, and accountability. It looks like those conversations are finally gaining momentum.
Here’s something many parents don’t realize: currently, anyone can teach dance. There are no universal licensing or educational requirements to start teaching dance. It’s optional.
One question parents rarely think to ask is: Did this instructor complete years of teacher training, or did they simply stop dancing as a teenager and begin teaching? Those are not the same thing.
When choosing a dance program, ask:
• How many years did the instructor train? When did that training end?
• What teacher certifications do they hold?
• Who taught them and do they still receive professional guidance and mentorship support?
• Do they follow an established, age-appropriate syllabus?
• What child protection policies are in place?
• Who holds them accountable to a professional code of ethics?
Professional standards are about far more than technique. They include ethics, respectful conduct, transparent governance, and accountability.
One of the biggest gaps in dance today is independent accountability. When concerns arise they are handled, internally. That’s when independent standards really matter. They help ensure decisions are fair, transparent, and focused on what’s best for children—not influenced by personal relationships, or internal politics.
This philosophy has guided my entire career. I invested years in teacher training through the Edmonton School of Ballet, Cecchetti Canada, ADAPT, and various Acro training programs because all children deserve instructors who understand not only what to teach, but when and how to teach it safely.
Swimming, gymnastics, and many other youth sports already have national standards and ongoing certification. Dance is finally moving in that direction too.
At the end of the day, dance should always be fun. But families investing 8-10 months each year deserve instruction built on education and experience, delivered with accountability and ethics.
