Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre is located in Yaletown on Pacific Blvd between Davie and Drake. We're open 7 days a week and it's always hopping here: courses and programs for all ages, a black box theatre, an exhibition hall and the restored historic steam engine, Engine 374!

We're expecting large crowds for the VSO Performance at David Lam Park on Saturday, July 11. Please plan ahead, walk or use transit where possible.
Please be aware that Drake street from Pacific Blvd to Marineside Crescent will be closed from July 6-14 for setup & performance. On the performance day, Sat. July 11, Pacific Blvd will be single lane traffic with no parking from Homer Street to Roundhouse Mews.
Our parking lot is reserved for a private special event happening at the Roundhouse and will be closed to the public. Please plan ahead, walk or use transit where possible.

Circle of Future: World Listening Day Soundwalk

📍 Meet at the Roundhouse, 1.5km walk (easy), ends near Sunset Beach
In honour of World Listening Day, this soundwalk introduces the fantastical side of everyday life. Join us in discovering strange nooks, perspectives, and rhythms hiding in the ordinary. When media and entertainment show mostly bleak destinies, what futures do we imagine for ourselves? Do we feel hopeful and connected to what happens here? Soundwalking together creates unique space to notice and imagine other worlds, as we play with sensory perception and awareness of the surroundings.

Here's what is happening over the Summer at Roundhouse! We're excited to have The Vancouver Comic Arts Festival back for their annual festival. A free two-day celebration of comics and graphic novels.
The Kessler Academy, a Roundhouse partnership with Music on Main
and Microcosmos Quartet, performs August 9 in our Performance Centre. This event was established to give young string players an intensive, professional experience of preparing and performing a challenging and inspiring string orchestra concert.
The initiative, led by the Microcosmos Quartet, is in its tenth consecutive year. It promises a transformative journey of musical growth, collaboration, and mentorship for the next generation of talented musicians.
