When preparing for your Father Daughter Dance, you only need these 3 basic skills:

1️⃣ Learn a simple HomeBase
A simple HomeBase is one that you don’t have to think about or focus on to get the steps right. Preferably learn how to turn the HomeBase so that you’re not in one static position the whole time.

2️⃣ Learn how to do a Separation
A Separation is an essential dance skill that prepares you that something is coming, and it gives space so that you don’t have to worry about stepping on the dress.

3️⃣ Learn how to do a Twirl
Doing an underarm turn is one of those dance essentials that make you look like you know what you’re doing! The Outside turn is the most basic turn that also looks great, so definitely start with that one!
