Softball BC Umpires

We are looking for interested candidates to join the Provincial Officiating Development Committee. Open to all SBC umpires Level 4T and above who are not currently a District Umpire-in-Chief.

Deadline to apply is October 1st.

The U23 Men’s Canadian Championship recently completed with Jeff Vanzella (U2) and Tyler Warren (U3) receiving assignments on the Gold Medal Game. Congratulations gentlemen!

On August 9th, we had another retirement of one our long-serving Umpires in BC. Bruce Tilbury laid his hat at 2nd base at Softball City after the Bronze Medal game at the U15 Men’s Canadian Championship.

After 26 years, Bruce was celebrated by coaches, fans, players, and his fellow Umpires for his dedication to Softball in BC and Canada. Thank you Bruce!
