Tamara and Maureen became Imago therapists in 1996, part of the first Canadian training group and went on to become Advanced Clinicians in 1999. They undertook an intensive training program in order to become Certified Getting the Love You Want workshop presenters, a weekend workshop facilitated six times a year. They are the only Certified Workshop presenters living in Vancouver. Both Maureen and Tamara each have a private practice where they see individuals and couples, as well as teach and provide consultations. She counsels clients who have experienced trauma, either recent or historical. She is certified in trauma modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DMNS). Tamara is committed to helping people discover what it truly means to be who they are and help them identify how they want to live their life. She help her clients find a more positive and loving way to be in relationship with each other because she believe relationships have the power to transform the lives of couples, adult family members and individuals.
