🌱 Transforming Invasive Species into Art! 📄✨

Looking for a unique, hands-on weekend activity? Join us at the Killarney Community Centre this summer for our Papermaking with Grass workshop!

In this sustainable crafting session, you’ll learn basic paper-making techniques using upcycled, invasive Reed Canary Grass. We will explore the history and unique materiality of this plant while transforming it into beautiful, usable paper sheets entirely from scratch!

Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to try something completely new, this workshop is open to all skill levels.

Killarney Summer Concert Series 2026

Bigger. Better. Louder. More unforgettable than ever!

The Killarney Summer Concert Series is back for its 4th year, and we’re celebrating with our biggest summer lineup yet! Get ready for five incredible outdoor concerts, five amazing bands, and absolutely FREE admission. That’s right—no tickets, no cover charge, no cost. Just great music, great people, and unforgettable summer nights under the stars.

We kick things off on July 23 with the always-entertaining The Golden Archies, bringing the fun and energy to start the season in style.

Then on July 30, get ready for Big City Soul, a powerhouse 9-piece party band guaranteed to have the crowd singing, dancing, and celebrating all night long!

On August 6, prepare to be amazed by David Wills & The Dynamics, delivering an incredible performance you won’t want to miss.

Then on August 13, one of last year’s fan favorites returns! Groove & Tonic had the crowd buzzing in 2025, and we knew we had to bring them back. Expect a high-energy, non-stop party atmosphere from the first song to the last.

To close out our spectacular 2026 season on August 20, join us for Billy Dixon and His Soul Train Express. It’s the perfect grand finale to an amazing summer of music, dancing, and community spirit.

Walking Soccer is a low-impact, inclusive sports program designed specifically for older adults who want to stay healthy, social, and engaged through sport. This modified version of soccer eliminates running and physical strain, making it perfect for maintaining health, improving balance and coordination, and enhancing mental well-being in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’re a lifelong player or new to the game, all fitness and skill levels are welcome. Wear running shoes and all soccer equipment provided. Space Permitting – Drop-in $3.25
