The weather's been a little crazy these past couple of weeks. One day it's sunny and warm; the next it's raining and cool and some days you get a mixture of both. Our drummer took this clip yesterday at practice. Her mother lives in sunny CA and asked if we go out in the rain. ๐ณ

Fueling your workouts isnโt just about having enough energy DURING exercise - itโs also about how you recover AFTER.
Whether youโre lifting, running, paddling, cycling, or playing sports, your body needs fuel to:

One of the biggest misconceptions is that eating less will automatically improve body composition. But consistently under fueling while training hard can actually hurt recovery, performance, sleep, muscle retention, and long-term progress.

Beginning June 8, Stage 3 water restrictions will be in effect across Metro Vancouver.
As part of FCRCCโs commitment to responsible water use, the dock hose will be removed and we will return to our water-saving boat washing process until restrictions are lifted.
๐ถ Wash boats at the West Shed
๐งฝ Use the provided sponges and water buckets
๐ฆ Use only the water needed to keep our boats clean and race-ready
It may take a few extra minutes, but small actions add up. As paddlers, we spend countless hours on the water and understand better than most the importance of protecting this valuable resource.

Would you look at that sunrise!! Yup...we were there for it. ๐ฅฑ Our final 2K team time trial this morning and what a beautiful day for it! The NEW Draco fleet produced many PB's!!! The Easter Bunny ๐ฐ even had treats waiting at the finish line. ๐ฅ๐ฑ๐

Last week some of our crew headed to Tempe, Arizona for a one week Right Angle Performance camp. And no, they were not paddling at night...with the unseasonably extreme hot temps ๐ฅต, they paddled at 6AM!!! Thanks Kamini for another great camp!!
