Started out as a Conference in 2011, Being ME has now grown to include a portfolio of unique events focusing on the Muslimah Empowerment agenda and currently operates in Halifax, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, and Online across globe. Being ME, the 'ME' stands for Muslimah Empowered, is a nationwide registered not for profit seeking to empower Muslimahs in Faith, Confidence, Action, and Community.

We're so excited to welcome Tanweer to Being ME Girl Talk: BFF – Building Friendships Forever!

Tanweer has dedicated her life to lifting up women and children. She helped build Nisa Helpline and Nisa Homes β€” safe spaces for women and children in need β€” and continues that work today as a Board Director at Nisa Foundation. 🀝

As the founder of Ilham Wellness & Retreat, she creates spaces where girls and women can grow in confidence and just be themselves β€” exactly what Girl Talk is all about! 🌸

She also serves as BC Outreach Officer for Justice for All Canada, standing up for dignity and justice for all β€” because that's what true sisterhood looks like. 🌿
