Earlier this month, our dojang proudly hosted the annual Jeon Eui Taekwondo Invitational. Competitors ranging from four years old to adults showcased their skills in poomsae, board breaking, and kyorugi, demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
We are incredibly proud of every athlete who stepped onto the mats and gave their best effort. A special congratulations goes to our first-time competitors, whose courage and determination to challenge themselves in a competitive setting were truly inspiring.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers, whose hard work helped ensure the event ran smoothly. From registration and officiating to supporting competitors and guiding our youngest students, your contributions were invaluable to the success of the tournament.
Finally, thank you to Master Shawn and his students for joining us and helping foster a spirit of friendship and respect. Events like these highlight the strength of our taekwondo community and the positive impact of healthy competition.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this year's event. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed this weekend!

While there were some great performances and well-earned results, what made us most proud was the growth shown by every athlete. We watched our competitors step onto the floor with confidence, composure, and a willingness to challenge themselves—qualities built through consistent hard work and dedication in training.

We were equally proud to see teammates supporting one another throughout the day, demonstrating the respect, sportsmanship, and determination that we strive to develop both on and off the competition floor.

Thank you to all of our athletes for their efforts and for representing our dojang so well. We would also like to thank our families for their continued support and encouragement throughout the season.

We are proud of what was accomplished this weekend and look forward to continuing the journey together.

This past week, our dojang’s own Master Fong and Master Agassi travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to represent Team Canada at the 2026 Senior Pan American Poomsae Championships. Competing against some of the top poomsae athletes across the Americas, they delivered an incredible performance and proudly brought home multiple medals for Canada!

Through their dedication, perseverance, and passion for Taekwondo, our masters continue to set an incredible example for all of our students. Their achievements on the international stage reflect the hard work and spirit of excellence they inspire in our dojang every day. We are extremely proud of both Master Fong and Master Agassi for representing Team Canada and our dojang with such distinction!

🥇 U50 Team — Master Agassi and teammates
🥈 U50 Pair — Master Fong and Master Agassi
🥈 U40 Female Individual — Master Fong

It's our privilage to represent Team Canada in 2026 Senior Pan American Championships in Rio de Janeiro.
