Football BC wishes to announce a substantial change in the way our Team BC tackle program is organized and led. Effective September, a new volunteer committee will assume control of the male tackle program. As part of this restructuring, the position of Operations Manager is being eliminated, and Cory Philpot will be concluding his role with Football BC as of today.

Football BC wishes to place on record its appreciation of Cory’s efforts over the past decade. Cory’s impact in BC has been substantial both on and off the football field. In 2015, he led the charge for the establishment of a new provincial organization for BC when the previous organization became disenfranchised from its stakeholders. Since then, Cory has led the return of Team BC to both national and regional championship.

Cory’s leadership is well established at all levels of BC’s football community and everyone at Football BC wishes him every success with both his current and future endeavors.

Good Luck to our U16 Team BC squad taking the field this weekend at the Football Canada Club Nationals. The CMFA Belt Boys won the right to be named Team BC at the Provincial Flag Championships in June of this year and now they are going to take on the best in the country looking to bring home the 🥇
