Fall is arriving quickly in Vancouver but we’re staying busy!
BAUER Hockey Shadows skates in 6.0 Fit 2
CJ Gamble Xoom Pro+ frames in Small (76mm/72mm)
Rinkster Hockey Splits in Black / White

Nice to have this ‘in between’ size for when 80mm/76mm is too big and 72mm/68mm are too small. Turned out great.!
Thanks Robin! 🇳🇿

Hell yea. Everything about this is a big yes. The two piece sticks, street hockey pads, old inline hockey skates and two hockey legends.
Retro roller hockey advertisement with Paul Kariya and Mike Modano. I miss Easton.

What are those?!
A few years ago we saw Team Taiwan flying around on 90mm 3 wheel frames at the world championships.. since then we have been searching to find them and try for ourselves.
Bigger wheels = more speed, better push offs and more stopping power. 3 wheels vs 4, lighter.
A bit higher off the ground is my concern, will it be harder to stop or turn? More stress or risk on ankles or something?

Ride height is definitely a bit higher than normal Hi-Lo but much lower than a Marsblade R1.
Would definitely be harder to scuff up your boots with the big wheels.. and imagine how much longer a 90mm would last for the outdoor guys..
They are about 110g lighter than a normal 4 wheel frame with wheels, bearings and hardware.
We got some samples earlier this year. Shop guy Jordy was testing them this season and loved them.

Currently have Brydon Frisk Brydon Frisk buzzing around on them in Pro Leagues in France with AVG FOUS du BITUME Villeneuve
Let’s see if they will perform and hold up to playing at the highest level.

So, would you make the swap to be lighter and faster or do you believe 80/76 4 wheel setups are the only way?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

New CJ Gamble Xoom PRO+ frames in stock now.
5 colours available to match your boots.
4 sizes for a more appropriate fit to your your foot size including a size Small using 76mm/72mm for skate sizes 4.0-6.0. They can feel a bit more natural than 80/76 and more powerful than 72/68.
Medium is 186g (without spacers) compared to krypto at 174g (with spacers)
They do not come with spacers or a tool so make sure you grab those if you need.
They feel a bit stiffer than kryptos at a lower price.
Great new option for ice to inline skate conversions and they are only available on our website.

As awesome as all the White skates are looking today, I think I’ll still usually lean to Black. That’s the stuff Warrior Hockey CJ Gamble
Based on this mock from Tony Headrick I think we figured out what frames we’ll put on our Warrior boots.

White Foxes win to force a final game 3, 8pm tonight at Karen Magnussen Arena in North Vancouver. So much fun to get to watch some NHLers go head to head in summer roller. Live stream will be up on the NSIHLA - Inline Hockey League YouTube channel.
