Book to play 9 holes at Langara on Friday, July 24.

Before the Langara 100th anniversary afternoon shotgun tournament, we are offering 9-hole tee times off Hole #1 and Hole #10 from 7 am to 8:30 am.

The green fee rate is a flat $30 plus tax for all rate categories (senior and junior rates do not apply). No advance booking fees will be charged.

Bookings are by phone only. Call the Langara Golf Shop at 604-731-1816 starting Friday, July 10, beginning at 10am to book a 9-hole tee time.

Please note that the Langara Golf Course clubhouse will be closed on Wednesday, July 8 due to a planned hydro outage.

Services will be limited all day. The clubhouse and kitchen will be unavailable. Outdoor washrooms will remain open.

Take a Kid to the Course runs July 2 to 31, 2026, at Fraserview, McCleery, Langara and hundreds of other courses across the country. Youth can golf free with a paying adult. Canada Day is Wednesday, July 1. Please be reminded that holiday golf rates/restrictions will apply and that early morning back 9 play is not available.

Langara Golf Course turns 100 today! ⛳️

Built by the Canadian Pacific Railway and designed by A. Vernon Macan, Langara opened on June 26, 1926. At the time, it was the longest course at 6,500 yards, and green fees were only 50 cents on opening day.

A lot has changed in 100 years, but Langara is still a special place to play, connect and make memories.

Fraserview Golf Course hosted the BC All Abilities Championship on June 1 and 2, welcoming 13 adaptive golfers from BC, Alberta and Ontario for two days of competitive play.

Adaptive golf gives people with physical, cognitive or sensory disabilities the opportunity to play through with specialized equipment. Rules adjustments, such as allowing a caddie to help with ball placement, or permitting a player to anchor the club, keep play fair and accessible. The sport is growing rapidly, with competitive events now held across Canada and around the world.

The golfers at Fraserview included three players who hold rankings through the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD), a global system administered by the R&A and USGA that tracks performance across sanctioned adaptive golf events worldwide.

Grant Lee of Red Deer, Alberta took the title with a gross two-day total of 158.

Many players who were in the field are eager to return to Vancouver for the Vancouver Golf Tour's Vancouver Open, played annually at Fraserview, McCleery and Langara, which includes an adaptive golfer division. With enough registrations, the event could qualify as a WR4GD counting event putting Vancouver on the map as a destination for competitive adaptive golf.

Fraserview Drainage Project Complete

Drainage work is now complete at Fraserview, including the approach to the green on hole #2 and the fairway on hole #9. We will seed drainage lines in the fall when temperatures are cooler and water restrictions are lifted. This will provide optimal grow-in conditions.

The course will use all regular greens moving forward. Thank you for your patience during this important course improvement project.

Fraserview Drainage Update:

As drainage work continues at Fraserview Golf Course, work on Hole 14 is wrapping up.

The crew will be back on Monday, weather permitting, to begin work on the approach to Hole # 2. Later next week, work will also get underway on Hole # 9 fairway. During construction on Hole 9, golfers will play from a temporary tee in the fairway, past the work area, and will approach the regular green from approximately 120 yards.

Signage will be in place and our starter and golf shop teams will have the latest information on any changes.
