Vancouver riders, save this one. ⚡️
From light e-bikes and standard e-bikes to e-scooters, mopeds, and full-speed motorcycles, each vehicle category comes with different rules for speed, age, licensing, insurance, helmets, passengers, and where you can legally ride.
This guide is current as of August 2026, but regulations can change—always check official BC, City of Vancouver, and ICBC sources before riding.
Ride safe. Ride legal. Ride smart.

How long should an electric scooter battery really last? 🔋
In most cases, a well-maintained battery can last around 2–5 years, or roughly 300–1,000 charge cycles. But charging habits, heat, moisture, riding conditions, and battery quality can all make a big difference.
Watch for warning signs such as:
• Reduced riding range
• Sudden shutdowns
• Battery percentage jumping
• Slow or incomplete charging
• Power loss on hills
A weak battery does not always need to be replaced. In some cases, professional diagnosis and battery refurbishing may restore performance and save you money.
Swipe through the carousel to learn how to extend your battery’s lifespan and recognize problems early.
