Meraloma Rugby

We’re pleased to announce Jalan Farris and Francis Denny as our Meraloma Men’s Premier coaches for the upcoming 2026–27 season, with continued support by Strength & Conditioning coach and lifelong Loma, Mike Hall.

Jalan comes into the coaching team as a respected Meraloma player and captain over the past six seasons, and will take on the role of forwards coach with the Premier team this season. He’ll be joined by backs coach Francis Denny, who arrives with coaching experience at Burnaby Lake and England Police, following a playing career with National 1 and county representative experience in the UK.

We’re looking forward to the season ahead under an exciting new coaching team! Keep an eye out for pre-season details, to be shared soon.

It’s that time of year again, The smell of fresh cut grass, The sun setting after 8pm, And the shine on the top of Ted O’Leary head gets brighter. You just know playoff Rugby is here.

The Mighty 3s are our sole representative from the Men’s section this year as they to Coquitlam on Saturday to take on a tough team.

The teams split the spoils in the regular season and it’s going to be another battle on Saturday with a spot in the next round up for Grabs.
