Under the Ice is finding its audience.

Since completing the film earlier this year we have been quietly building a festival record. Three international wins, four official selections, two honorable mentions, and a finalist placement across festivals in New York, Athens, South Africa, Turkey, the United States, Jamaica, and India.

For a self-funded short documentary about a South African woman swimming under ice in Norway — and the depression, addiction, and recovery that surrounds that story — I couldn’t be more grateful for the reception it has received.

The film is still on the circuit. More results to come.
