Congratulations to two incredible members of the Hollyburn community! 🎉

We’re thrilled to celebrate Jake Weaver, recipient of the 2026 Dave Rees Award, and Morna Fraser, recipient of the 2026 Firth Award, prestigious Nordiq Canada Awards for their outstanding contributions to cross-country skiing in Canada. Their volunteer service spans over two decades as a coach, competition lead, an executive membr and as a course facilitator.

Jake and Morna, thank you for the countless hours you’ve devoted to Hollyburn, our athletes, and the broader cross-country ski community. Your leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.

Big news: We’re welcoming 4-year-old Jack Bunnies again this year!

Congratulations to all of our Hollyburn Sun Runners! The sun understood the assignment last weekend ☀️ ...and so did our ~50 athletes! So fun to see everyone racing, smiling, and rocking it off skis for a change.🌞 ((Big thanks to Duane for getting us all together!))

Last Sunday marked the final local race of the season for our athletes at Teck Coast Cup #4 in Whistler. ❄️

It was a fantastic day of racing to wrap up the Coast Cup series! Huge congratulations to all the athletes who raced and so much gratitude to you the coaches, volunteers, and organizers who made the event possible.
