🐺 Sea Wolf Walk Led by a WildSafeBC Naturalist
10:00 to 11:00 am
🐺Meet at: Whale Parking Lot trailhead at the large trail map.
🐺Ever wondered what makes Vancouver Island’s sea wolves so unique? Join a WildSafeBC Naturalist for a fun and engaging one-hour walk as we dive into the fascinating world of these remarkable coastal predators. Learn how sea wolves swim between islands, hunt along the shoreline, communicate with their packs, and have adapted to life where the rainforest meets the Pacific Ocean.
Along the way, we’ll share stories about wolf behaviour, ecology, conservation, and how people and wolves can safely coexist on the West Coast. Whether you’re a local or visiting Ucluelet, this walk is a great opportunity to discover why sea wolves are one of Vancouver Island’s most iconic wild residents.
Please note: You may have seen recent notices about wolf activity in the area. For everyone’s safety, please respect all dog closure areas.
Location: Whale Parking Lot. Follow Peninsula Road and turn onto Coast Guard Road. The parking lot is the first one on your left.
