Lawn Bowls has a long history and found its
start in ancient civilizations in China, Egypt,
Rome, the Aztecs and Polynesia. A Code of Rules was established in the
1850’s in Scotland. Lawn Bowls popularity
grew throughout the British Empire including
Canada in the 19th century. The Trenton Lawn Bowling Club began

Congratulations Elise.
Elise Kerr (Belleville Lawn Bowling Club) received a Certificate of Achievement from Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp for her success at the U18 Provincial Championship. At just12 years old, she is the youngest to win the title.
