Thank you for helping make Trenton a more beautiful place to live. Your hard work, creativity, and pride in your properties brighten our community and inspire others to do the same.

Keep an eye out for our award signs around town, and don't forget, two properties are recognized each month from May through October!

Know someone whose yard deserves to be recognized? We'd love to hear from you! Nominate a property by sending us a message or contacting the Trenton Garden Club.

Thank you to the Trenton Garden Club for continuing this wonderful tradition of celebrating community pride. 🌷🌿

Getting outside just got a little easier!

We’re excited to announce several new additions to the Town of Trenton’s Go Play Equipment Loan Program, including:

• Child carrier hiking backpacks
• Youth hiking poles
• A trail-friendly stroller
• A bike trailer

These new items were purchased through funding provided by Nova Scotia’s Active Communities Fund, a provincial program that supports communities in creating more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to be physically active and engaged in recreation.

Whether you’re planning a family hike, exploring local trails, or looking for a way to make outdoor adventures more accessible, we’ve got equipment available to help.

To borrow equipment from the Go Play Program, email [email protected].

Looking for something we don’t currently have? Let us know anyway! Go Play is a county-wide equipment loan program, and the item you’re looking for may be available through one of our partner municipalities.

Let’s make it easier for everyone to get outside, get active, and explore everything Pictou County has to offer.
