New Ice plant coming to Trenton Curling Club!🧊🥌

It was a great day at the Trenton Curling Club!!
So many members and friends came out to support our club and celebrate the efforts of Dave and everyone in the background who have worked for years to secure this grant (and others) to replace our ice plant, in which some components date back to 1958!

The new plant will improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact! It will also ensure we keep curling and supporting the community in Trenton for decades to come!

Many thanks to Tyler Allsopp MPP for Bay of Quinte also Mayor Harrison, and council members; Zack Card, Leslie Roseblade and David O’Neil for coming to celebrate this special day!

Lastly a huge shoutout to the Ontario Trillium Foundation OTF. It’s an agency of the Ontario government with a mission to build healthy and vibrant communities across the province.

I’m thrilled to announce that one of our very own curling stars is stepping into the spotlight with her solo art exhibition at the Quinte Arts Council in Belleville! 👩‍🎨

Dear Friends and Art Lovers,
You are warmly invited to Fury and Grace, Sky and Sea, a solo exhibition by Edith Lepage Crete.
Through a collection of evocative seascapes and skyscapes, Edith explores nature’s striking duality, its tranquil beauty and its untamed power. Inspired by memories, imagination, and careful observation, these paintings invite viewers to reflect on the ever-changing relationship between sky, sea, fury, and grace

The Trenton Curling Club’s annual golf tournament was a swinging success! ⛳️🥌
Everyone had a great day at the Trenton Golf Club. It was a perfect sunny day! ☀️ Afterwards we wrapped up the day with an excellent steak dinner (cooked to perfection!)
A massive shoutout to all the players and all the unsung heroes who made this event a roaring success! From the plans to the dishes! You guys did an Awesome job!

Hey Everyone! It’s that time again—the Trenton Curling Club’s Annual Best Ball Golf Tournament⛳️
Here’s the scoop:
Swing by the Trenton Golf Club by 11:45am. Grab your golf carts (if you’re renting) and find your starting hole. At 12:15pm, we’ll mosey to our spots for a 12:30 pm shotgun start. Got non-member buddies playing? Pass this info along!
We’re rolling with an 18-hole scramble format, with every player using 2 drives.
After the fun on the greens, we’ll head back to the Curling Club for some socializing and a sizzling BBQ steak dinner. Don’t forget to hand in your scorecards to Bill at the Club—one per team, please!
Fingers crossed for sunny skies and birdie-filled games! 🤞☀️⛳️🥌

A big hooray to everyone who slid into the last Potluck Funspiel of the year at the Trenton Curling Club! It was fabulous to see both newbies and seasoned curlers tossing stones and laughs alike. (Thanks to Bill and all the organizers!!) Everyone went all out with tables piled high with their delicious specialties!
Don’t forget -this may be the end of the curling season but not the last of Trenton Curling Club fun! Check out our euchre tournament, banquet and of course our spring meeting :)
