First trip of the summer starting off strong! 🌊☀️

Our campers hopped on the ferry Friday and spent the day exploring Centre Island, hitting the splash pad, and checking out the zoo. A perfect start to what’s shaping up to be an amazing summer. 💚

Our BGC kids took the stage last Friday and absolutely delivered. 🎭✨ After weeks of work with our theatre team they finally got to show off the play they worked so hard on.

BGC West Scarborough’s theatre program gives children in our community a space to explore storytelling, self-expression, and creativity, all while collaboratively building and performing a real play from start to finish.

Before that blue shirt goes on, there’s work to do. 💚 Our Leaders in Training (LIT) have been putting in the hours over the last month, going through interviews, training sessions, and everything it takes to show up as exceptional volunteers at our BGC West Scarborough Summer Camps.

Last Sunday our team headed over to Michaels on Warden Ave for their Party Shop event to represent BGC West Scarborough! 🎨💚 We set up a table, brought our banners, and connected with the community as part of Michaels’ ongoing fundraising partnership with to empower kids through creativity.

Every year we celebrate the incredible impact BGC Clubs have on children and youth across Canada, and this year we went all out with a massive carnival-style celebration for our community.

We were happy to help organize and participate in a Soft Skills training session for supervisory staff across the BGC Toronto Network today! 💚🙌

Investing in our staff means investing in the young people we serve, and we love seeing Clubs across the network come together to learn.
