June, you were another beautiful month ✨🌷
Spring changed into summer, the days are finally long, and we celebrated Pride with our whole hearts. Looking forward to the Out of Office Retreat in July with Megan Jones and the 7AM class bingo challenge!

Happy Pride from everyone at Good Space 🌈❤️✨
Community has always been the heart of this studio, and this Pride weekend we’re celebrating some of the voices that make up our team. We asked a couple of our instructors and team members to reflect on what being q***r means to them, and how it influences their movement and connection to their practice.
If you’d like to share any thoughts or reflections on your own q***rness and practice, we’d love to hear your story below 🫶

Summer is here 🌞
This season invites us to slow down just enough to notice what’s already here. To connect with nature, our bodies, and with the people and places that help us feel grounded. Whether that’s a walk through your neighbourhood, a class in the studio or simply taking a few deep breaths outside, these small moments have a way of bringing us back to ourselves.
A collection of things currently bringing us joy:
☀️ Longer days
🌿 Touching grass (literally)
🧘 Moving our bodies
📖 Reading in the park
😌 Remembering that being outside is sometimes the whole wellness routine
Here’s to hugging trees, soaking up a little more sun (don’t forget sunscreen!), and easing into the summer bliss we wait all year for.

New to Pilates!?
If you’ve ever been in class and heard words like neutral spine or spinal imprint and thought to yourself “what does that actually MEAN”…you’re not alone. You’ll hear a lot of terms in class that might sound more complicated than they actually are, but don’t be intimidated - our classes are inclusive to anyone, whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned pilates pro.
Although you don’t need to memorize anything before stepping into the studio, having a little context always helps to feel confident and prepared. So let’s break down the meaning behind 5 foundational Pilates terms so we can all feel comfy and excited for the next class:
✨ Neutral spine
✨ Imprint
✨ Tabletop
✨ C-curve
✨ Bridge
Hopefully that helped! If there’s any other terms you’d love to understand further or have broken down, let us know below 🫶
