Lifts, Dips & Tricks for Waltz & Other Dances – Part 2

Join us Sunday, July 19 from 2:00–4:30 PM at St. Barnabas (175 Hampton Ave.) for an exciting workshop exploring lifts, dips, tricks, for waltz & other dances part 2! Register Here: https://waltztoronto.com/ -ldtw_stb19jul2026n

Good news: You do not need to have attended our April 19 workshop to join this one.

Prerequisite:

• You must bring your own dance partner (there is no partner rotation for this workshop).
• Participants should be reasonably athletic.
• The lead should be able to comfortably walk while carrying the follower.

A few more notes:

-Trios are welcome, provided there is at least one lead and one follower.
-Waltz experience is recommended but not required.
-New to Waltz? Join our Waltz lesson on Saturday, July 18 to get started.
-We teach a traditional, free-spirited, improvisational style of Waltz with a rich history spanning more than 200 years.

Cheryl & Simon have over 20 years of experience teaching and performing air steps, lifts, drops, dips, floorials, and other spectacular dance moves. It's one of our favourite things to teach, and we'd love to share it with you!
