It can be tricky 🤣😅
Yoga healing space
Natural and holistic approach to healing and wellness with the help of Yoga
What I always do when I don’t know what to do and feel helpless.
I go to my mat, sometimes after some crying, or an anger outburst.
20 years ago that would’ve just been physical practice (which by the way also helped). Now it’s a bit different. Now I learned it can be anything — movement, breath, or just silence, as long as I can sit with whatever is, feel it and allow space.
The world is sooo freaking impermanent, without much control on our side. So creating some inner support always comes in handy. Steadiness gives me the freedom to choose who I am in a moment, instead of just reacting to it.
And it’s not always peace and rainbows, I can choose anger, I can choose being not nice, but it is a conscious choice.
What’s your version of the mat?

Some tired doesn’t go away with sleep.
Your inner voice is constantly talking about productivity and achieving. Your body feels exhausted, your mind is blurry and fatigued, but you pretend otherwise. And you keep thinking “i just need some silence/rest/reset”.
This is a tough grip of “holding things together.” We tend to deal with exhaustion and burnout only once it’s a bit late — which means fixing it takes effort too, and becomes its own struggle.
The sound bath is where this holding stops, easily. And when it does, you feel it — heavy and light at once. The weight of what you were carrying, and the relief of finally releasing it.
You feel like you leave your body and then come back, but rewired: grounded, with mind clear and still. Best part - you don’t have to push for it or make any effort. It just happens.
September 5, Midtown, 6pm — join me for breathwork and sound bath.
Only 4 participants. DM to join.
Say “ta**ra” and most people think s@x. That’s only partly true. 👀
This idea is actually pretty recent — one small practice got pulled out of a much bigger tradition, rebranded, and marketed. (That practice is beautiful too, btw — just needs context.)
Real ta**ra is about deep, intimate connection to yourself. Embracing everything that’s happening to you — all of it — and redirecting that energy.
That’s the nutshell version. Want more? Let me know below 👇

When we get sad it affects our heart. You might feel tension in your chest, the breath becomes shallow, the mind spirals around the same thing.
In ta**ra we don’t skip emotions. We don’t suppress or replace. We stay with them, allow them to pass through the body, observing — and then giving them a physical channel to move through.
Enjoy 😘

Are you collecting wisdom or embodying what has been taught?
Collecting knowledge is easy, living it through is way harder.
Happy Guru purnima, forever grateful to my teachers 🙏🏼❤️🔥 wish I had pics with all of them.
Sound travels 4-5 times faster through water than through air. Our bodies are 70% water — which means sound isn’t just heard, it’s conducted through tissues, bones, fluids.
So a sound bath can reach places nothing else can (just the neurosurgeon maybe).

Who are you without your roles?
The role of a teacher, a mother, a student, someone who has it all together etc.
It’s nice to know who you are when you wake up in the morning. It feels like safety and direction.
We tend to hold so tight on these roles that when something changes, even externally, we feel terrified and lost.
Or maybe even we want some change to happen, but those identities resist hard, they give you 100500 reasons why you should stay as you are.
Sometimes I think maybe that’s exactly the point. To drop your old reality and start to explore the new one, maybe a better one. But until you hold back - you never know.
Yoga offers us this idea in different ways: do not hold tight in things (vairagya); explore yourself (svadhyaya); accept what you discover (ishvara pranidhana).
As a yoga teacher I can’t fix you the way doctor will, BUT!
I can help you learn how to understand your body and its needs, follow your mind and track and dissolve patterns.
Of course alongside becoming stronger and more flexible 😜
