🏁 Peterborough Speedway – Bone Stock Division 🏁

Saturday, June 6 was a memorable night for Jokers Racing!

The STP #35 of Jeff Oakes picked up Jokers Racing’s first heat race win of 2026 — and Jeff’s first-ever heat race victory! 🏆

Unfortunately, the feature race ended early for the STP #35 with a DNF due to car trouble. But before the issues struck, it was an awesome sight watching the Oakes brothers race door-to-door, with Steve bringing the Tide Ride home in 8th place.

As the great Harry Hogge said:

What a way to kick off the 2026 season! 🏁

Jokers Racing made its official debut this past weekend at Peterborough Speedway and we couldn’t be happier with how the night went.

The Tide Ride #53 driven by Steve Oakes and the STP #35 driven by Jeff Oakes were close all night long, finishing 6th and 7th in their heat races before bringing home 10th and 11th place finishes in the feature. For our first night out, we’ll absolutely call that a success.

Fan Appreciation Night was an absolute blast and gave us our first real opportunity to see the track, meet fellow racers, learn the cars, and get comfortable in the racing environment. Lots learned and plenty to build on moving forward.

A HUGE shoutout goes to Lakeside Mobile Tire for supporting Jokers Racing in ways we never imagined (supplying candy, snacks, even tire changes from Scott!). Your support means everything to this team.

Also a massive thank you to Greg Duncan for making the trip down and helping us get both cars on the track. Couldn’t have done it without you.
