πββοΈπ΄ββοΈπββοΈ Gravenhurst Triathlon 2026 πββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ
What a weekend!! ππ₯ From first-timers to overall winners, Gravenhurst gave us plenty to celebrate, plenty to laugh about, and plenty of stories weβll be talking about for a while. π
Lexyβs race nearly ended before it started when she arrived in Gravenhurst and realized her entire triathlon bag was still in Toronto π±π. After a late-night round trip, just a few hours of sleep, and some encouragement from Kate Butler, she made it to the start line and raced her way to 2nd in her age group π₯βwhile beating her previous Gravenhurst time by a minute! πͺβ¨
Kate completed her first-ever Olympic-distance triathlon (and only her second triathlon ever!), finishing 8th in her age group π. Less than a year ago, swimming 25m continuously felt impossible. This weekend she powered through 1,500m and crossed the finish line already thinking about the next race! ππ₯
Erica reminded us what race weekends are all about: adventures with friends, showing up through all kinds of weather ββοΈ, cheering each other on, and celebrating every winβwhether itβs a podium or simply getting to the start line.
Andrew G. had his best Gravenhurst result yet, finishing 6th overall and 1st in his age group π₯π. Luke put together a phenomenal race to take 1st overall in the Olympic distance ππ₯.
Andy R. took on his first-ever duathlon π₯, while Steve Moore raced to 8th overall and Paul Huyer captured 1st in the 60β69 age group and 7th overall π₯π.
And Tim wrapped up the weekend with his fastest-ever Olympic-distance race in Gravenhurst π΄ββοΈβ‘πββοΈ, proving that all those cold, dark training sessions were worth it.
Absolutely amazing results! π
The high-fives, the encouragement, the finish-line smiles π, and the stories behind each race are what made this weekend so special. β€οΈ
Congratulations to everyone who raced, volunteered, cheered, and supported each other along the way. On to the next one! ππ
Letβs keep the momentum for all of our upcoming races!!!πππ

It was another BIG weekend of racing for our community that included one of our LOCAL favorites: the TORONTO MARATHON! π π
VIKTORIIA β¨
Not only ACHIEVED a PERSONAL BEST, but reached an incredible milestone on her journey to her first Ironman 70.3. She credits Coach Irina: βHer knowledge and experience have helped me a lot in achieving this result.β
LIZ ποΈ
Fulfilled a lifelong DREAM of running the streets of the city she loves. Her takeaway? If you DREAM BIG and put the work in, ANYTHING is possible.
HUGO π€
βI really appreciate the support from the Team Atomica family, particularly coaches Irina and Ayesha.β
RODRIGO ποΈ
Took on the rolling hills of the VANCOUVER MARATHON. When his PB felt out of reach, he shifted focus and βdecided to enjoy the viewsβ... and still finished with an IMPRESSIVE 1:26 half-marathonβa true testament to STRENGTH and perspective.
COACH STEPHEN π
Took full advantage of the flat and fast terrain at the scenic Georgina Spring Fling to cap off the weekend with a well-earned PODIUM FINISH!
RECENT MILESTONES ποΈ
We also want to shout out these incredible performances from earlier this spring:
ALICE π
Conquered the SWIM MIAMI 10K in April! βI DID IT! That is without a doubt the most difficult physical challenge I have taken on and I feel so proud and so thankful for Team Atomica coaching and support.β
COACH RICARDO π΄
Proving what βsurviving by ridingβ looks like post-surgery! Ricardo recently completed both Ironman 70.3 Curitiba and the Paris to Ancaster Classicβeven in the legendary P2A MUD! (see photo)
Whether it was a PB, a dream realized, or a hard-fought recovery race, we are so PROUD of this team.

Special congratulations to all of the Team Atomica athletes who crossed the finish line at the HISTORIC 2026 LONDON MARATHON last weekend!π¬π§β¨
Not only did these four friends and teammates conquer the course together, they officially became part of history as London broke the Guinness World Record for the LARGEST MARATHON EVER with over 59,000 finishers!
From Carolyn celebrating her 4th WORLD MAJOR star and the growth found in every kilometer, to Shauna utilizing cross-training in the pool to overcome a hamstring injury, these runners showed incredible resilience. Carol honored her UK roots with an all-British playlist and an ICONIC RUN over Tower Bridge, while Madalyn pushed through tough digestive hurdles to finish strong, proving that the best part of any race is the COMMUNITY you travel with.
We are so proud of your grit, your stars, and your βWorld Recordβ finishes! π

πββοΈ BOSTON STRONG πββοΈ
While running the Boston Marathon is a lifelong dream for some, today weβre celebrating two veterans who absolutely crushed it this past weekend! ππ
MATT π₯
16 years later, he returned to Boston with unfinished business. The result? CRUSHED his previous time by 20 MINUTES and broke the 3-HOUR BARRIER.
βCoach Lucien coached me to success on this one.β β¨
PAUL H π
Running Boston for the 16th time, Paul claimed 3rd in his age groupβhis 5th podium finish in 6 years. He credits the tailwind and electric crowd energy, but we know the truth: THIS IS WHAT DEDICATION LOOKS LIKE.
Two runners. Two incredible performances. One legendary race. π
