Games kick off at 12PM but you know the drill - please show up before kick off to get settled in and ready for all the action…

Let’s get into it! TOMORROW is our first game day of the season 🏈☀️

We can’t wait to hear all of your team names for next weeks games but for now we’re just going by colors. At 12 Blue and Pink will face off followed by a matchup between Purple and Green at 1:30pm! Neon green has a week off but please feel free to still come to the field to practice and cheer on other players:)

⏰Please arrive before the kick-off time of your game. If the game has to start late, refs won’t be extending game time so you will lose out on precious football game minutes. If we’re waiting too long for players to arrive, your team may also risk a default.

New and returning players came together for a practice game and didn’t hold back 🔥 The level matched a regular game with interceptions, spirals, flag pulls and great energy all around.

Right after, we took it to the draft party where everyone got to mingle and find out their teams for the season 👀

Join us next Saturday May 9th, 12-3PM at Sorauren Avenue Park for the first official games of the league. Schedule to go out soon! 🏳️‍🌈🏈

THIS SATURDAY May 2nd we will have an action packed day to kick off the 2026 season (you can attend both parts of the day or just one part is ok!)

- Exhibition Game @ Sorauren Ave Park, 12PM: an opportunity to take part in a low-stakes, high fun game of flag football before the season begins.
- Draft Party @ The Rhino (1249 Queen St W), 2:30PM (arrive on time)!

What to expect:
- Meet the exec team and other players in the league in a welcoming, social setting
- Teams will be announced and you’ll get the chance to meet your team with some ice breakers!
- Some food will be provided by the league
- The Rhino has alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available to purchase
- There might even be the chance to play a game of pool or two…

✨Friends and partners of 2026 league players (regular players and substitutes) are also very welcome at both the exhibition game and draft party - we love having the wider community there!
