Making a Difference: Annual Support for Underprivileged Kids

Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for your generous donations and continued support.

We are pleased to share that the latest shipment of used badminton accessories sent to Sri Lanka has been successfully distributed to underprivileged children in the Kilinochchi district. This annual initiative is something we take great pride in, as it brings joy to many young players and supports their growth in the sport.

We truly believe that the blessings and gratitude of these children extend to our club and to each and every one of you who contributed so kindly.

TSBC hosted the Semi Annual Kids Tournament on 7th/14th Jun at Markham District High School. This tournament was exclusively for children trained by TSBC.

We extend our sincere thanks to all parents for their commitment, and a special thank you to the volunteers and well-wishers for their valuable support in making the tournament a success.

We sincerely thank you for participating in the Semi-Annual Club Tournament held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Batts Athletics in Brampton. We truly appreciate the excellent cooperation and support from all participants, coordinators, the Executive Committee as well as the many volunteers who contributed to the smooth and successful ex*****on of the tournament.

We were delighted to welcome approximately 100 participants from across the Greater Toronto Area.

We strongly encourage everyone to continue taking part in our tournaments. These events not only reflect your dedication to the sport but also provide valuable opportunities to build confidence and enhance competitive skills.

A special thank you to Batts Athletics, Brampton, for their tremendous support in hosting this tournament. The facility proved to be highly flexible and well-suited for organizing both small- and large-scale events.

Hi Friends,

We successfully conducted the Triple Badminton Tournament on Sunday, May 10 at Badminton Zone, Scarborough. The event featured both men’s and women’s categories, with five teams participating in each.

As you may know, Toronto Smashers Badminton Club (TSBC) introduced the Quadruple Tournament format to the badminton community and successfully hosted its inaugural event on Sunday, April 5 at the same venue.

These initiatives reflect TSBC’s continued commitment to innovation and its dedication to supporting and strengthening the badminton community by motivating players and nurturing talent.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all participants, volunteers, and the tournament committee for their invaluable support in making this event a success.
