Sometimes the best opportunities exist because nobody else built them first.

We designed this clinic to be the ultimate summer investment for athletes entering Grades 7, 8, and 9. Not only do they get elite, high-performance physical and mental training, but they also earn an accredited OSSD high school credit. When you break it down, it’s under $19 an hour for nationally-coached development.

Don't just keep them busy this summer. Help them improve.

Moving your body today can protect your brain for the rest of your life.

In a talk by Wendy Suzuki — neuroscientist, NYU professor, and author of Healthy Brain, Happy Life — she breaks down the science: physical activity has immediate benefits for mood and focus, and long-term protective effects against conditions like depression and dementia.
Every class at Toronto Kyokushinkai is that same medicine in action — moving the body to build a stronger, sharper mind, for kids and adults alike.

If your athlete is serious about taking the next step, we'd love to meet them.

Our Elite Athlete Clinic is designed specifically for highly committed athletes entering Grades 7, 8, or 9 who are playing at (or striving for) the REP/AA/AAA level. We don't just run drills; we build the foundational strength and mindset that transfers to every single sport.

Your child's brain is being built on the mat right now.
In a recent segment from KING 5 Seattle (NBC), a pediatric sports doctor broke down the science: kids with higher aerobic fitness show better working memory, sharper attention, and faster response times. Every session, different parts of the brain remap to build body awareness and make new skills stick faster.
At Toronto Kyokushinkai, every round of kihon, every drill, every rep is doing double duty — building focus in the dojo and in the classroom.
The activity that works best isn't the "optimal" one on paper. It's the one your child actually shows up for.

Control is the real victory. Every time.

Bruce Lee wasn't talking about avoiding conflict. He was talking about mastering it so completely that conflict becomes unnecessary.

That's the standard we train to at Toronto Kyokushinkai. Not aggression. Not ego. Control — of your body, your breath, your temper, your fear.
The strongest person in the room is rarely the loudest. It's the one who doesn't need to prove anything, because the work has already been done — on the mat, rep after rep, for years.
That's Kyokushin. That's Osu.

Ice. Bottles. A moving car. None of it stood a chance.
This is what decades of Kyokushin training builds — not just strength, but complete control over the body and the moment. Every break, every strike, every second of that fight is the same discipline our students practice on the mat every week, just taken to its highest level.
This is Kyokushin. Osu.

This is is not Summer Camp

We spend hours driving our kids to practice, cheering from the sidelines, and investing in their sport. But who is teaching them how to handle the pressure when the game is actually on the line?

This isn’t just another summer camp. Hosted at Toronto Kyokushinkai Karate, our 3-week High-Performance Clinic is designed to build complete athletes. Using elite combat-based conditioning led by a North American Champion, your child will develop explosive speed and power, while building the strength and flexibility to prevent injuries.

More importantly? We build the winning mindset they need to stay calm under pressure.
Plus, they’ll earn their fully accredited Grade 9 OSSD gym credit before high school even starts.

Groups are kept intentionally small for real mentorship.
⏳ Strictly limited spots remain for Grades 7, 8, and 9.
