One week ago today (which is so crazy to believe)🤯, Grief as Resistance was wrapping up.
If that’s not a reminder that time moves quickly, I don’t know what is. Time is a thief… but I suppose she’s just doing her job.
Last Sunday, and I gathered in community to explore grief, loss and decolonization. Somehow, this little idea we carried in our hearts became a sold-out event, which is a first for me, and such a beautiful response to something that felt deeply soul driven.
Looking at these photos, you’d never guess we spent the afternoon talking about grief. But that’s the beauty of gathering in community. It wasn’t about making light of grief or masking it with false positivity; our goal was to create a space where grief didn’t have to be carried alone. Laughter existed alongside tears, and where connection reminded us that our heaviest stories become a little lighter when they’re witnessed by people who see you and seek to understand you.
I’m not known for being brief, which is probably why these recap posts take me so long. I always want to fit every conversation, every moment, every lesson into one caption. The truth is… I can’t.
Some experiences are simply meant to be lived. But, what I can say is this: there will be more events like these.

Japan photo dump 🇯🇵✨
From the bright lights of Tokyo, the energy of Osaka, to the beauty of Kyoto, and the peaceful views of Lake Kawaguchiko with Mount Fuji watching over us… this trip felt like stepping into another world.
I explored the Tarot Museum Tokyo, ate more sushi than I can count, wandered through breathtaking nature and landscapes, stocked up on skincare, sang karaoke, drank sake, and experienced so many little moments that made this trip unforgettable.
There is so much beauty, intention, care, and creativity woven into this country. So much to see, and somehow never enough time. I did all the things I love and more.
