August heat adds a whole new layer of difficulty to big efforts, and hydration is the first thing that gets away from people. 💧
A good rule of thumb: drink at least one bottle per hour in hot conditions, more if you are climbing or pushing hard.
Electrolytes matter just as much as water. And if you feel thirsty, you are already behind. 😬
