One of the biggest shifts we see in teacher training is realizing that yoga isn’t just about getting into a pose, it’s about HOW you inhabit it.
In our Asana Labs, we slow everything down. We explore alignment, biomechanics, and the subtle actions that create stability and ease.
In this clip, we’re working with oppositional energy - actively engaging the legs to create length, support, and integrity throughout the entire body. When the legs are awake, the spine has space, the core naturally responds, and the posture becomes stronger without relying on force.
These are the details that transform a yoga practice from something you do into something you truly understand.
A teacher training is perfect for anyone looking to better understand Asanas in their own body first.

Think of your breath like a toolbox.
Some breathing practices are designed to calm your nervous system. Others can increase alertness, improve focus, build resilience to stress, or prepare your body for rest. The goal isn’t to breathe *deeper* all the time - it’s to breathe with intention.
This is why pranayama has been practiced for thousands of years. It’s not simple about breathing more, it’s about learning how to use your breath as a tool to influence your physical, mental, and emotional state.

Before we change the body, we change the breath.
The quality of your breath often reflects the quality of your nervous system. That’s why pranayama has been an essential part of yoga for thousands of years - not as an add-on, but as a practice in its own right.
Your breath is always speaking. Learning to listen is the first step.
May your learnings on your mat transcend far beyond it 🫶🏽

new fleet of yin yoga teachers just entered the world ✨
Watching this group devote themselves to the subtler practices of yoga has been such an honour. In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, achieve more, and push harder, they chose to slow down, listen deeply, and learn the art of holding space.
So proud of the dedication, curiosity, and heart each of them brought into this training. The ripple effect of this work will reach far beyond the mat.
And just like that… our next chapter begins. Our 200hr YTT starts in June and there are only 2 spots left. If you’ve been feeling the call to deepen your practice, expand your understanding of yoga, or step into teaching, this is your sign 🤍
The next picture of graduates might just have you in it.
