Spin 2 Win Lesson 📚📝

Coach Taylor taking a page out of Samkor Kiatmonthep book using a heavy kick setup to land a spinning back fist!

The biggest tip for this technique is follow through missing on a kick and using momentum to add on a spinning attack 🙏

Clinch Turn 🔄💪

1️⃣ Timing — Be postured and step in bladed underneath side / skip knee. Evades strike, while setting up turn.

2️⃣ Push / Pull — Disengage lock quickly to pull down on neck and push the lat. Do both of those simultaneously, while pairing with pivoting of the other leg.

Your timing and reaction in this technique need to match the speed of the knee being thrown by your partner, at minimum.

A light quick tug on the neck is not being “kind” to your partner / opponent, as keeping them on their feet can setup a follow up strike!

Alternatively, a bit more force with sharp reaction can also change this technique from a “turn” to a clean sweep 🙏
