More workouts, more cardio, and more intensity don’t always mean better results. Progress happens when you train with intention, fuel your body properly, prioritize recovery, and give your muscles time to adapt.

Rest days aren’t setbacks. They’re part of the process. Focus on quality over quantity, listen to your body, and remember that consistency will always beat burnout.

You don’t have to be perfect, but just be consistent and get back on track right away. Don’t wait for Monday, or a new week to start.

You can restart right now. We’re all human and food is part of human connection. That means there’s going to be family BBQ’s and there will be birthday parties.

Being consistent means you can still enjoy these things and be intentional with your food. Aim to eat whole, nutrient dense unprocessed foods including lean proteins, healthy fats and carbs 80% of the time and allow yourself that 20% to enjoy.

It doesn’t have to be all on the weekend, you can sprinkle through the week, but track it. Know where you are at ⚖️

The longer you can be consistent, it becomes routine. Once it’s routine it gets that much easier to maintain.

Plus a lot of the time, when routine sets in, that’s when the results begin to happen.

Routine takes time, but with patience and consistency, it arrives!

Just over a year ago or so, an old client of mine asked me if I had ever heard of HYROX and I said “no, what is it?”

He told me to google it, so I did. I said there was no way I would ever do that. It is so opposite of how I currently train.

Fast Forward to the end of June. Of of my class clients said she was doing the race and for some reason this wild idea popped into my head and I said “you know what I’ll do it with you”

I love the way I train and am in a great rhythm right now and don’t want to lose that because I’ve been building and building, but I just decided why the heck not, let’s try it.

So here we are. I’m doing a HYROX double race with Boz on Oct 4.

Will I do another one? Probably not 🤣 but I am all for trying anything once!

Wanna cheer us on, you can get spectator tickets! Come on out and motivate us to keep pushing when we just wanna crumble 🥵

Skipping meals—especially breakfast—isn’t the flex you think it is when you’re trying to hit your fitness goals. 👀

Not eating doesn’t automatically mean faster fat loss. Going too long without food can leave you low on energy, struggling through your workouts, playing catch-up with your protein, and absolutely starving later in the day.

You don’t need a massive breakfast, but getting some protein + carbs + nutrients in early can help fuel your training, support muscle recovery and make it WAY easier to stay consistent with your nutrition.

Remember: your body needs fuel to perform. 💪
Eat enough. Hit your protein. Train hard. Stay consistent. That’s where the results come from.

Sleep matters more than you may think 🤔 😴 🛌

You don’t build muscle during the workout.

You build it during recovery.

Training creates the stimulus through muscle breakdown, but deep quality sleep is where your body repairs tissue, supports muscle growth, balances hunger hormones, and helps fat loss progress.

If your sleep is poor, recovery slows, cravings rise, energy drops, and results can stall.

If you’re training hard but not seeing progress, sleep may be the missing piece.

This isn’t a story just about weight loss!
This is a story about consistency driving results, a full mindset change, a lifestyle change and CONFIDENCE!🙌

This is Seema ✨ (permission granted to share)

We have been working together for 1.5 years. I have been training her 2-3 days a week.

She never said “I want to lose weight”

Our focus has always been about strength. A consequence of building strength has been weight loss, but we actually have never put Seema on the scale.

How do we know Seema is achieving her goals?

She feels stronger (Girl can leg press 450lbs!)

She fits into a pair of jeans that she hasn’t been able to since she was 25 before she had her son!

She gets compliments on a weekly basis asking “What are you doing?” Her reply “ I train with a trainer consistently”

The biggest difference I see between these two photos is the confidence that she has gained in the right side photo.
It screams confidence!

Seema is a perfect reminder that your health journey isn’t always about the number on the scale. That is just ONE metric. Body composition changes, how your clothing fits, how strong you feel, health marker improvements and overall confidence will far supersede and motivate you to KEEP GOING!

If you are looking to make changes and are stuck on your own, DM me to fid out more about my coaching options in person and online.

Most people don’t fail their New Year’s health goals because they lack motivation.
They fail because they rely on all-or-nothing thinking, unrealistic plans, and zero support.

Real results come from:
• simple habits
• structure over willpower
• consistency, not perfection
• addressing the why behind your choices
• accountability that actually keeps you showing up

If you’re ready to stop starting over and want a plan that fits your real life, I’ve got you.

Burnout is REAL and the impacts it can have on your health is also REAL. 😫

The impact stress has on our hormones can send us down a brutal road of hormone imbalance that can lead to many other health risks down the line.

Recently I’ve had multiple clients that are dealing with this and not able to find the time for themselves and there health and wellness routines.

For various reasons they are drowning and not able to come up for air.

So how do they find time for themselves, to workout, meal prep, let alone eat just one healthy nutritious meal and stay on track with their goals?

The hammer yourself more at the gym is not necessarily the solution. We have to first sit back and evaluate where changes need to be made.

How do we reduce stress?

How do we remove some of that overflowing water from the cup so that we have more room again for the things that matter the most to our health?

My latest blog post talks about this and gives simple solutions to help manage stress during those busy times. 👩🏻‍💻

If you’re struggling with burnout and are looking for a coach to help you get back on track with your nutrition and fitness goals and reducing stress, DM me, I can help guide you!
