Ground is moving at Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto.

Himalayas Golf is building a dedicated short game facility at the Thornhill, Ontario club — three greens for chipping and putting, plus a full bunker complex. Drainage is in and shaping is underway.

Ladies' has operated since 1924, founded by Ada Mackenzie and designed by Stanley Thompson. It remains the only private club in North America owned and operated by women, for women.

Our CEO Paul Jansen walks the site.

Progress at Pacific Golf Club, our second short-flight driving range in Australia. 🇦🇺

Taking shape in Carindale, Brisbane, the new facility is fully enclosed by netting across a compact 60m x 45m footprint, with artificial turf throughout and dedicated wedge target greens.

One of the smartest features is beneath the surface. The entire range is designed so balls gravity-feed naturally to a single collection point, removing the need for traditional ball collection. The facility will also be paired with Toptracer technology to create a complete practice experience.

And the structure is already making an impression locally. Rumour has it that pilots flying into Brisbane Airport use it as a beacon, earning it the nickname “King Kong’s Cage.” 🦍

This is a purposeful-practice space we built in California, USA.

It's amazing to see it a year on from completion, with the landscaping and surrounds now fully in place. Every slope, pin position and teeing area at this site was designed with specific golf shots in mind. The greens themselves include a Pelz underlay system, engineered for realistic bounce and high performance nylon turf.

A golf facility rebuilt around purposeful practice.

At Royal Johannesburg, we delivered a new large single-tier tee area, an expanded practice green, and Africa’s first Dave Pelz wedge target greens — positioned at 25-metre intervals from 50m to 125m to help golfers dial in their distance control.

The tee area was also reconfigured to reduce the risk of stray balls reaching adjacent holes, creating a safer and more effective practice environment.

Construction was completed in just two months, with Royal Johannesburg’s own maintenance team overseeing the build to deliver the project efficiently and within budget.

As Course Manager Jerry Steyn puts it: “This concept on the range is at another level.”

The Short-Game is the most important bit of golf.
At Himalayas Golf, we build spaces with this in mind.

Limited square footage doesn’t have to to mean limited capability.

We built a high-performance training studio at Athletic Golf with elite short-game coach Gareth Raflewski.

It’s a space meticulously engineered so golfers can practise every shot in the bag, moving from full-swing drives to delicate wedge play without leaving the room.

At the centre of it: PuttView, giving players interactive, data-driven visual feedback on the putts that actually lower scores. Intentional architecture. Elite analytics. No compromise on the space available.

Construction is well underway at the Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto.

We're repurposing an underused area into a dedicated short game practice facility, featuring four natural grass practice greens and a driving range—creating what promises to be one of Toronto's most comprehensive practice environments.

Built entirely with natural turf, the new facility will provide golfers of all abilities with a purpose-built space to develop every part of their short game.

It's a privilege to be working with North America's only private golf club created by women, for women, helping bring this exciting new practice destination to life.

Stay tuned as the project continues to take shape.

The grass is growing in at Emgee Greens, India! 🌱⛰️

Despite the challenges of monsoon season, it's incredible to see the progress being made at Emgree Greens in Lonavala, India, where we're working alongside one of India's most decorated golfers, Shiv Kapur, to create a truly unique Par-3 experience.

Set across just 7 acres (2.8 hectares), the course features natural grass throughout and USGA-specification greens. Inspired by some of the world's greatest Par 3s—including iconic holes such as the 17th at TPC Sawgrass and the 12th at Augusta National—it also celebrates India, with the 3rd green shaped in homage to the country itself.

A huge thank you to Mohammad and the IPI team, whose work on the construction and ongoing grow-in has been exceptional. Their efforts have been even more remarkable considering the site endured an extraordinary weather event in early July, receiving around 1,300mm of rain in just 48 hours—a truly unprecedented deluge.

With just two months to go until opening, we can't wait to see how the course continues to mature and to welcome golfers of all ages and abilities.

Stay tuned... exciting things are coming. 🇮🇳⛳️
