At Cedar Brae Golf Club, we partnered with Gareth Raflewski to create a practice facility that helps golfers improve with every session.

A redesigned putting green features progressive training modules and a gamified scorecard, while new wedge calibration target greens and an artificial turf tee line provide the perfect environment to sharpen distance control.

The Putting Zoo — St Thomas, Ontario.

Completed and opened in the summer of 2023, this 18-hole putting course was how our client — a local golf enthusiast and philanthropist — wanted to give back to her community. The brief: a zoo-themed layout built primarily for kids, but a joy for everyone.

Since opening it's introduced 800+ school children to the game.

We designed and built a full 18-hole putting course — strategy, contours and hazards pulled from the championship course next door, yet welcoming enough for a first-timer.

Lighting and sound were built in to stretch the day and turn the green into an open-air extension of the clubhouse.

Golf Canada's brand-new community putting park! 🇨🇦

Designed and built by Himalayas Golf, this 6,503 sqm (69,997 sq ft) putting experience is one of the largest artificial turf putting parks in the world.

Inspired by the great links courses of Canada and beyond, Talon Links features 18 holes ranging from 27 to 90 feet, rolling fescue-covered mounds, multiple routings, and a tribute to Nick Taylor's iconic 72-foot winning putt at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.

But perhaps the most important feature? It's completely free.

Created as part of Golf Canada's vision to grow the game, Talon Links welcomes everyone — golfers and non-golfers alike. Families, friends, beginners and experienced players can simply show up, borrow a putter and golf ball, and enjoy a fun, social golf experience together.

Recently, we completed a new high-performance training space for our partner, elite short-game coach Gareth Raflewski, and his new Athletic Golf brand.

In just 625 sq ft, golfers can practise every shot in the bag while refining the putts that lower scores, powered by advanced PuttView technology and purposeful training design.

What happens when golf is made accessible to everyone? ⛳️

Since opening in November 2025, Golf for Good in New Zealand has welcomed an estimated 40,000+ visitors — far exceeding expectations and proving the power of community-focused golf.

From families enjoying time together and birthday celebrations, to evening events, school fundraisers, and golfers playing under lights, the facility has quickly become much more than a golf course.

Most importantly, the project is already delivering meaningful impact beyond the game, with NZ$130,000 distributed to local Lions and Rotary Clubs to support charitable initiatives within the community.

A fantastic example of how innovative golf spaces can create lasting social value while introducing more people to the game.
