📣 September U7 CDS Evaluations at Leaside Arena 🏒

Leaside Hockey is pleased to announce September CDS Evaluations for the following U7 teams:

U7 Development Team
Players born in 2021
ONE SKATE ONLY: Wednesday, September 9 from 5:00–6:00 PM

U7 Red & Gold Teams
Players born in 2020
Skate #1: Wednesday, September 9 from 6:00–7:00 PM
Skate #2: Saturday, September 12 from 8:00–9:00 AM

📍 All skates will take place on Rink A at Leaside Arena, 1073 Millwood Road

Players who wish to attend the evaluation skates and join a CDS team must be registered in the LHA House League program for 2026–27. There is no charge to attend CDS evaluations.

🏒 The Shift Forward: What Hockey Families Need to Know

Hockey Canada’s new The Shift Forward: Evolving Hockey Culture program is bringing modern, inclusive and meaningful education to help create a safer, more positive environment for everyone in the game.

Courses are available for Coaches, Registered Team Staff, Officials, Parents and Guardians.

New to hockey?
The Shift Forward course must be completed in order to register your child or be included on a team roster.

Already completed Respect in Sport?
Respect in Sport will continue to be recognized through the end of the 2027–2028 season. However, The Shift Forward course becomes mandatory beginning in the 2028–2029 season.

💻 One-time course fee:
Parents/Guardians — $11.50 + tax
Coaches & Officials — $26.99 + tax
